ACOUSTIC RESEARCH PW101 10-Outlet Power Conditioner with Voltage Meter Expected a bit more, beware of dimensions – O&F – Austin, TX United States
This is a glorified power strip, and for the price I expected more. The picture is somewhat deceptive and I should have paid closer attention to the box dimensions – this is not designed to support other AV components like other power conditioners in this class – it’s about 3 inches deep, so it must either rest on a shelf with nothing else above it, or at the top of your rack on another component. All other AV power conditioners I have bought are deep enough to support other components on top of them.
The build quality is not as good as I would have expected for the price (). It is what it is, but my Belkin PureAV that went for about 0 has a far superior build quality and more standard component-like dimensions.

I just got these, and guess what! The RCA parts are too short and/or thin to make a good tight connection to most RCA cables. Don’t expect your cables to stay attached once you put them on! I tried various different types of cables to attach to this Y adapter — including some made by Acoustic Research, and pretty much all of them fell off once I let go of the setup. With a little gaffer’s tape and a lot of luck maybe I could make these work, but out of the box they’re pretty useless.
Like the previous comment says, this Y link’s connectors wont stick which is why I gave it 4 stars.
Please note if your connecting to other cable:
At first I could not make this cable work (No audio) as I connected it with what I believed was the AP031 cable (it said this on the bill), I later found out that I had been sent the identical AP030 cable by mistake which the AP043 Y cable does not work with. Acoustic Research was nice enough to send me the correct cable even though I had bought it from a reseller. Just be aware of this and save yourself a month of trouble.
